Private label essential oils

Custom Essential Oils, Blends, Extracts & More

Phytoex isn’t just limited to a few popular oils – we offer an extensive range of natural products. Choose from over 100 SKUs of premium-grade essential oils, plant extracts, and functional natural ingredients—all ready for OEM/ODM or private label production. Whether you want to replicate a best-selling aroma or launch a new wellness formula, we’ve got you covered.

Natural essential oils

Pure Essential Oils

We stock dozens of 100% pure essential oils, distilled from botanicals sourced around the world. From classics like Lavender, Peppermint, Tea Tree, and Eucalyptus, to exotic oils like Frankincense, Neroli, Ylang Ylang, and Sandalwood, we have a vast library to choose from. Many of our oils are food-grade (ISO 22000 certified), meaning they can be used as natural flavor ingredients in beverages, candies, or supplements (e.g. citrus oils, mint oils, etc.) with appropriate formulation. All oils are therapeutic grade, suitable for aromatherapy and personal care uses.

Custom oem odm essential oils

Essential Oil Blends & Custom Formulas

Take your product to the next level with custom blends. We can create proprietary blends of multiple essential oils (and even other extracts) to achieve a specific aroma or wellness benefit. Popular options include relaxation blends, energy blends, seasonal blends, or solutions like natural fragrance blends for perfumery. You can either choose from our ready-made blend recipes or have us develop a new, exclusive blend just for your brand. This is a great way to offer something truly unique in the market.

Pure natural hydrosol

Natural Extracts & Hydrosols

In addition to essential oils, we produce botanical extracts and hydrosols (floral waters) which are valuable for various industries. Our herbal extracts can be oil-soluble or water-soluble, and include things like plant tinctures, CO₂ extracts, oleoresins, and distillates of herbs and spices. These are often used in food & beverages, supplements, or cosmetics for their active properties (e.g. peppermint extract for flavor, green tea extract for skincare antioxidants). Hydrosols, the gentle aromatic waters from distillation (such as rose water or lavender water), are excellent for toners, face mists, and formulators aiming for softer fragrances. All extracts follow the same quality standards as our essential oils – pure, no unwanted additives, with documentation provided.

Natural carrier oils

Carrier Oils & Base Oils

We also supply base oils (carrier oils) that are commonly used to dilute essential oils or as ingredients in cosmetics. Examples include Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut (MCT) Oil, Argan Oil, Grapeseed Oil, and more. These can be bottled under your label as standalone products (e.g. a line of carrier oils for massage or skincare) or provided in bulk to use as formulation bases for your other products. Our carrier oils are high quality, cold-pressed or refined as required, and can come with organic certifications if needed. Offering carrier oils alongside essential oils is a smart way to give your customers a complete aromatherapy solution.

Flavour & fragrance

Fragrance Oils & Flavors

For brands in the candle, soap, or food flavoring space, Phytoex can provide natural fragrance oils and food-grade flavor oils. These are formulated aromatic oils that may not be 100% from essential oil (some include natural isolates or aroma compounds) but are designed for specific applications – e.g. a vanilla oleoresin for candles, or a berry flavor oil for lip balms. If your project requires a consistent fragrance that’s not easily achieved by blending essential oils alone, we can develop a solution. All ingredients used will be disclosed and safe for the intended use (cosmetic-grade, IFRA compliant, or food-grade as appropriate).

Water base essenital oils

Water-Based Essential Oil Solutions

Many modern formulations require essential oils that integrate into water-based products. That’s why we offer emulsified and water-soluble essential oil systems—perfect for: Facial toners and sprays, Skincare mists and hydrating serums, Functional beverage concentrates or flavor drops. Our water-dispersible oils are stable, transparent, and verified safe for cosmetic or food applications, depending on the system selected. This is a fast-growing category, especially for personal care and wellness brands seeking clean-label solubility.

Our Working Process: Step-by-Step

Embarking on an OEM/ODM or private label project with Phytoex is straightforward and transparent. We guide you through each step of the journey to ensure you get the product you envision, on time and on spec. Here’s an overview of our essential oil OEM/ODM & private label process
Step 1

Initial Consultation & Project Scoping

Every partnership begins with understanding your needs. We discuss your product concept, target market, scent or ingredient preferences, functional goals (e.g. calming, energizing, flavor profile), and any brand requirements. Our experts may advise on which essential oils, extracts or formulations can achieve the desired effect.
Essential oils consultation
Essential oil customization
Step 2

Custom Formulation & Quote

Next, our R&D team formulates the product. This could be a single essential oil (from our extensive catalog) or a blend of multiple oils and extracts. If you have your own formula or reference product, we can work with that too. We’ll provide a price quote at this stage, detailing unit costs based on your chosen packaging, volume, and ingredients. If any ingredients require special sourcing, we’ll let you know lead times. (We often have a huge variety of oils in stock, so in most cases we can proceed quickly.)
Step 3

Sample Development & Approval

Once the formulation is decided, we produce a sample (prototype) for you. We’ll ship this sample to you for evaluation. This is your chance to test the aroma, consistency, and packaging (if custom label or bottle) in person. We welcome your feedback – if you want a stronger scent, a different oil percentage, or any tweaks, we will adjust accordingly and re-sampling for you. We can iterate rapidly; our 72-hour prototyping means adjustments are done in days, not weeks.

Step 4

Order & Payment

After you approve the final sample and quotation, we confirm your purchase order and proceed to invoicing for you to arrange payment.

  • MOQ starts at 1kg per SKU, depending on the product
  • We accept international payment methods including T/T (wire transfer), PayPal (for small orders), or LC (for volume orders)
  • For repeat buyers, flexible terms or partial deposits may be discussed

Once payment is received, your order enters production.

Step 5

Production & Quality Control

Your written approval of the sample/formula and official order will kick off full production. Our team will extract or blend the oils as per the formula, then fill them into your chosen packaging (bottling). We adhere strictly to quality protocols during manufacturing – maintaining correct temperatures, avoiding contamination, and conducting in-process checks. Laboratory testing (GC-MS and others) is performed on the batch to ensure it meets purity and quality standards before we proceed to packaging. This step also includes preparing all certification documents (COA, MSDS, etc.) for your order.

Step 6

Packaging & Private Labeling

In parallel with production, our packaging team gets your branding elements ready. We print and apply your labels, or if you have pre-printed boxes or specialty packaging, we incorporate those. Every unit is inspected to make sure labels are correctly placed, bottles are sealed, and presentation is perfect. We can group products into sets or kits if required (e.g. an essential oil gift set). Our attention to detail in this stage means your products will be retail-ready out of the box.
Step 7

Final Inspection & Shipping

Before dispatch, each order undergoes a final QA inspection against your approved sample and order details. We ensure count accuracy, packaging integrity, and include all necessary paperwork. Phytoex then arranges shipping per your instructions – whether to your warehouse, Amazon FBA, or even drop-shipped to a destination. We handle international shipping and customs documentation as well, leveraging our export experience so your goods arrive smoothly. Lead time from order confirmation to shipping can be as short as one week for in-stock items, meaning you’ll receive your product quickly.

Step 8

Ongoing Support & Reorders

Our relationship doesn’t end at delivery. We stand behind our products – if you or your customers have any issues or questions, we’re here to support. When you’re ready to reorder or extend your product line, simply reach out to your account manager. Since we keep detailed production records and retain samples of each batch, we can replicate the exact aroma and quality of your product consistently. Many of our clients appreciate that we also offer inventory forecasts and just-in-time (JIT) supply for continuous production runs – ensuring you never stock out of your best sellers.

Packaging & Customization Options

First impressions matter. Packaging is a crucial element of your product’s success, and Phytoex offers a suite of packaging and customization options to ensure your oils look as good as they perform. We pride ourselves on delivering a finished product that is retail-ready and aligned with your brand identity. Here’s how we can customize your essential oil products:

Bottle Selection

Choose from a variety of bottle sizes and materials. We carry the industry-standard amber glass bottles (which protect oils from UV light) in sizes like 5 mL, 10 mL, 15 mL, 30 mL, 50 mL, and 100 mL (4 oz). We also have blue or green glass options if you prefer a different aesthetic, as well as larger bulk packaging like 0.5 kg and 1 kg aluminum bottles or HDPE jugs for bulk orders. Want a roll-on applicator for a blend, or a spray bottle for a room mist? We can accommodate that too.

Cobalt clear glass

Caps, Droppers, and Dispensers

We offer all common cap types to pair with your bottles. For essential oils, the popular choice is a tamper-evident cap with an orifice reducer (dropper insert) that allows controlled dripping of the oil. We also provide glass pipette droppers (with child-resistant options), which are great for tinctures or more premium presentation. Other dispenser options include roller ball tops (for roll-on oils/perfumes), fine mist sprayers (for sprays and room scents), and lotion pumps (if you’re doing a dilute oil blend that needs pumping). These can be matched with different cap colors (black, white, silver, gold) to complement your branding.

Labeling & Printing

Bring your brand to life with custom labels. You can supply your own label design, or our design team can help create one for you. We’ll handle the printing of labels (using durable, oil-resistant materials and high-quality inks to prevent smudging). Our team ensures labels are applied uniformly and straight on each bottle. We can also print directly on bottles via screen printing if you desire a no-label aesthetic (this works best for larger runs). All labeling will meet regulatory requirements – including contents, ingredients, and safety info – especially if the product is going to international markets with specific rules.
Essential oil packaging production
Essential oil outer package

Secondary Packaging

If your product will include boxes, kits, or gift sets, we have you covered. We can source or produce custom cardboard boxes for individual oils (with your artwork, logos, embossing, etc.) which add an extra layer of branding and protection. For sets (say, an aromatherapy starter kit of 6 oils), we can create gift boxes with die-cut foam inserts to hold each bottle securely. Even brochures or instruction leaflets can be inserted into packaging if you want to include usage guides for your customers. Just let us know what you need – our full-service approach means we’ll coordinate these details for you.

Unique Customization

Got a creative idea? We love collaborating on unique projects. Whether it’s a special edition product (with numbered bottles, or custom scent), collaborative branding (e.g., oils for an event or another brand), or eco-friendly packaging alternatives (recyclable materials, bamboo caps, etc.), we are open to making it happen. Because we control manufacturing, we can be quite flexible – for example, adjusting fill volumes, using a specific bottle shape you found, or adding seals and shrink bands for tamper evidence.
Premium essential oils

Low MOQ, Fast Turnaround & Quality Assurance

One of Phytoex’s core advantages is our flexible production that caters to both emerging brands and established companies. We lower the barriers to entry for creating your own essential oil line:

Low Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)

Start small with just 1 kg per oil or formulation – approximately equivalent to 8–10 bottles of 4 oz, or 30–50 bottles of 30 mL oil. It’s perfect for market testing new products or catering to niche markets without overstock risk. (Many private label suppliers set high MOQs, but at Phytoex we believe in helping you grow at your own pace.)

Rapid Production (3–7 Days)

Speed matters. Our streamlined operations and large stock of raw materials enable us to produce and fulfill orders within 3–7 days in most cases. That means if you place an order or approve a formulation this week, we can often have it manufactured, bottled, and ready to ship by next week. Even with customizations, we work on an expedited timeline – for example, using in-stock packaging keeps lead time to mere days. (Note: Truly custom packaging or very large volumes might take a bit longer – e.g. 2–4 weeks)

Fast Prototyping & Sampling

Have a product idea but want to test it first? We offer 72-hour prototyping for custom blends. Our lab can create a sample of your desired essential oil blend or product within about 3 days. We’ll ship you the sample for evaluation and testing. Free samples of stock oils are also available (just cover shipping) so you can verify our quality. Quick sampling means you can iterate on the scent or formulation rapidly before finalizing the bulk order. This agility helps you meet tight product launch deadlines with confidence.

Consistent, Certified Quality

Every batch of essential oil that leaves our facility undergoes strict quality control. We utilize Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) testing – considered the “gold standard” in essential oil analysis – to verify the purity and identify any contaminants. Quality assurance isn’t just a checkbox for us; it’s a foundational pillar. We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and have full traceability for each lot of oil from raw material to finished product. Clients receive a detailed Certificate of Analysis with each order, so you have documented proof of the oil’s composition and potency.

Our efficient supply chain (20+ tons/day production capacity and a 1000+ ton strategic raw stock) ensures we can scale up quickly as your demand grows, all while maintaining quality. In short, we offer the responsiveness of a small batch supplier with the reliability and standards of a large manufacturer – the best of both worlds for your business.

Quality Control & Certifications

When it comes to essential oils and plant-based products, quality is paramount. Phytoex has implemented rigorous quality control measures at every stage of production to ensure you and your customers get only the best, most consistent products. Here’s how we guarantee quality and safety.

Certified Manufacturing

Phytoex’s facility and processes meet international quality and safety standards. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified for quality management and ISO 22000:2018 certified for food safety management. These certifications mean our operations are audited and verified to consistently produce products that meet customer and regulatory requirements. We also follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines rigorously – from cleanliness of equipment to controlled procedures – ensuring that every batch is produced under hygienic and controlled conditions similar to pharmaceutical or food-grade production. For you, this translates to peace of mind that your products are manufactured in a world-class facility with zero compromise on quality.

Premium Sourcing

High quality essential oil products start with high quality raw materials. We source our botanical ingredients from trusted suppliers and farms around the globe, favoring those with their own quality credentials (organic certifications, sustainable harvesting, etc.). Each incoming raw material – whether it’s lavender flowers for distillation or coconut oil for a carrier – is inspected and often tested for identity and purity before use. By carefully selecting raw materials and verifying their quality, we lay the groundwork for a superior finished product.

In-House Lab Testing

PhytoEx is equipped with an advanced laboratory (including 11 precision testing devices) to carry out a battery of tests on our oils and extracts:

GC-MS Analysis

As mentioned earlier, we run Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry on our essential oils. This gives a detailed breakdown of the chemical constituents and can detect impurities or adulterants. It’s how we verify that an oil is 100% pure and has not been diluted or mixed with synthetics – a critical step since the essential oil industry is plagued by adulteration from less scrupulous suppliers. GC-MS is widely regarded as the ultimate test for essential oil authenticity.

Physicochemical Tests

We measure things like refractive index, specific gravity, optical rotation, flash point, etc., for each batch. These parameters must fall within accepted ranges for each oil (often set by ISO or pharmacopeia standards) to ensure the oil’s identity and purity. For example, pure peppermint oil has a specific gravity in a certain range – if a batch falls outside, it could indicate adulteration or a quality issue.

Microbiological & Contaminant Screening

Especially for any oils or extracts that are food-grade or cosmetic-grade, we may do microbe testing (checking for bacteria, yeast, mold) to ensure cleanliness. We also have protocols to test for heavy metals, pesticide residues, or solvent residues as needed. Our ISO 22000 food safety system mandates a risk assessment for any potential contamination points and rigorous controls to eliminate them.

Stability and Retention Samples

We keep samples from each production batch to monitor stability over time. Additionally, each order we ship is assigned a lot number, and we maintain retention samples and documentation so that if there’s ever any question or feedback, we can refer to the exact batch produced.

Documentation and Transparency

All quality test results are documented in the Certificate of Analysis (COA) that we provide with your order. This typically includes GC-MS summary, key physicochemical values, and confirmation of compliance with standards. We also provide an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for each product, which is important for your own compliance and for shipping (essential oils are often classified as flammable substances). Our commitment to transparency means you – and by extension, your customers or any regulators – can trace the product’s quality attributes easily. If you ever need additional documentation or specific certifications (Kosher, Halal, allergen statements, etc.), just ask – we likely have it or can obtain it.

Continuous Improvement

Phytoex doesn’t rest on its laurels. We continually invest in state-of-the-art equipment (for example, we utilize molecular distillation systems for certain oils to achieve higher purity) and we train our staff regularly on the latest quality protocols. We also welcome client audits – you are invited to visit our factory (in-person or virtually) to see our processes firsthand. Many of our clients have done so and left impressed with the level of quality focus.
By maintaining these high standards, Phytoex ensures that the product you receive is of consistent quality every time, meeting all specifications and giving your end customers a premium experience. In an industry where “100% pure” often isn’t what it seems, we stand out by delivering on that promise with verified results.

Industries We Serve

One of the strengths of Phytoex is our deep experience working with clients across a wide range of industries. Different industries have different requirements for essential oils and extracts – and we tailor our OEM services to meet those needs. Here are some of the industries we proudly serve, and how our products are used in each

Cosmetics & Personal Care

Essential oils and botanical extracts are core ingredients in natural and organic beauty formulations. We supply to skincare, haircare, and personal hygiene brands that use our oils both for fragrance and functionality. For example, a skincare company might use our tea tree oil in a facial toner for its purifying benefits, while a shampoo brand may include our rosemary oil to support scalp health. We understand this industry’s need for consistent aroma profiles, cosmetic-grade documentation (such as IFRA certificates and allergen reports), and visually appealing packaging. Our private label program also helps brands create unique blends and finished products—like facial oils, beard oils, bath oils, and more—ready for shelf placement or e-commerce sales.

Personal care & cosmetics

Food & Beverage

We serve food and beverage manufacturers that require food-grade essential oils and extracts to flavor their products naturally. Examples include drink brands using natural citrus oils for sodas and sparkling waters, candy makers adding peppermint or cinnamon oil to confectionery, or wellness supplement companies using encapsulated oregano oil as a functional ingredient. Since ingestible products are subject to strict regulatory oversight, these clients depend on our ISO 22000-certified manufacturing, traceable sourcing, and food-safe testing. We provide the necessary COAs, MSDS, and supporting documentation to meet U.S. FDA and FSMA import standards. Our responsive production process allows F&B clients to test and launch new flavors quickly—without delays.

Food & beverage

Health & Wellness

This sector includes aromatherapy, spa services, wellness brands, and natural remedy product lines. Our 100% pure, GC-MS-tested essential oils are used in massage therapy, diffuser sets, topical blends, bath products, and even aromatherapy inhalers or sleep roll-ons. We support wellness-focused businesses by developing therapeutic-grade blends—like stress relief, energizing, or immune support—that can be offered under private label. Because these products are often marketed for their holistic health benefits, our clients count on Phytoex for genuine, unadulterated ingredients. We also assist with usage guides, dilution ratios, and even help with packaging inserts to educate end users, making your products more professional and trustworthy.

Spa, wellness & aromatherapy 1

Pharmaceutical & Healthcare

Essential oils and extracts are increasingly used in pharmaceutical formulations, topical OTC treatments, and alternative health products. Our clients in this field include pharmaceutical companies, healthcare product manufacturers, and nutraceutical brands. Use cases range from eucalyptus oil in chest rubs, menthol (from peppermint) in muscle pain creams, to clove oil in oral gels. We supply pharmaceutical-grade oils that comply with standards like BP, USP, or other pharmacopeia specifications. Our ISO-certified production, batch traceability, and consistent composition across lots are key advantages for clients focused on clinical efficacy and repeatable performance. For nutraceuticals, we also offer potent extracts like ginger, turmeric, and garlic oil—and are actively expanding into supercritical CO₂ extractions to serve this growing sector.

Healthcare & pharmaceutical 1

Agriculture & Animal Care

In the agricultural sector, essential oils are being adopted as natural, eco-friendly alternatives for pest management and animal health. We work with agribusinesses, feed manufacturers, and farming cooperatives to supply oils like citronella, clove, thyme, garlic, and oregano, which are used in livestock feed additives, aquaculture wellness, and biopesticides. For instance, poultry operations may use oregano oil in feed to reduce antibiotic use, while crop farmers apply neem or lemongrass oil blends to manage insects organically. These applications demand large-volume, consistent-quality supply, along with data support like toxicology summaries. Phytoex offers high-capacity production of agriculture-grade oils with the same purity and documentation we apply to our cosmetic and food lines—ensuring safety for animals, humans, and the environment.

Livestock & aquaculture

Fragrance, Candle & Home Products

We also serve creators of candles, soaps, diffusers, and home aromatics who rely on authentic essential oils and stable aromatic profiles. This includes both craft brands and large-scale private label clients who need IFRA-compliant natural fragrance oils or blended aromas for consistent sensory experiences. For example, a home fragrance brand may use lavender and lemon in reed diffusers, or a soapmaker may use tea tree and eucalyptus in antibacterial bar soaps. We offer support with stability, compatibility testing, and scent development for your formulations—and can supply both essential oil-based fragrances and natural isolates that meet industry-specific regulations.

Home lifestyle products
As you can see, our OEM services are versatile and adaptable to many applications. Whether you’re a boutique aromatherapy brand or a large-scale food manufacturer, Phytoex understands your industry’s unique requirements and will deliver solutions to match. Our diverse client base is a testament to the flexibility and reliability of our processes.

Have a question?

We understand you might have more questions about how our OEM/ODM and private label process works. Below we answer some frequently asked questions. (If you don’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to contact us or visit our detailed FAQ page for more information.)
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for private label essential oils?
Our MOQ is very low – just 1 kilogram per product. In practical terms, 1 kg of oil can fill roughly 100–120 small bottles (10 mL size) or about 30–35 bottles of 30 mL. This low MOQ allows emerging brands to get started without a huge investment. We can of course produce much larger quantities as needed, but we’re proud to support small batch runs to help you test products or cater to niche markets.
We typically produce orders within 3–7 days after all details are confirmed. This quick turnaround is possible because of our efficient process and ready stock of materials. Shipping time will depend on your location and method (we ship worldwide via air or sea). If you choose an in-stock bottle from our catalog, expect about a week production. Custom packaging (like a unique bottle or box that we need to special order) can extend production time to a few weeks. We will always give you a clear timeline before you place the order. Rush orders may be accommodated – let us know your deadline and we’ll do our best.
Absolutely! Formulating custom essential oil blends is one of our core specialties. You can come to us with a complete recipe, a general idea (e.g. “a relaxing spa blend with lavender and citrus”), or even a target aroma profile, and our experts will develop it. We’ll create a sample for you to test and refine it until you’re happy. Once finalized, that blend can be produced exclusively for you. We sign NDAs if needed to ensure your formula remains proprietary. Many clients love creating signature blends that differentiate their brand – and with our help in R&D, the process is quick and enjoyable.
Yes, we are a full-service OEM which includes packaging and labeling. We have a wide selection of standard bottles and caps you can choose from, and we handle sourcing them. We also manage label printing and application – you just provide the artwork (or we can help design it). If you need custom packaging that we don’t stock (like a unique bottle shape or a branded box), we can usually source it through our network of packaging suppliers. We’ll coordinate the entire packaging process to deliver finished, branded products to you. You don’t need to send us anything (except your artwork files) – we take care of it all.
Phytoex is ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 22000 (food safety) certified, ensuring we follow internationally recognized standards in production. We also operate under GMP guidelines for cosmetics/food manufacturing. Every batch of our oils is tested – we use GC-MS testing to verify purity and composition. We provide a Certificate of Analysis and MSDS with each order. If your project requires other certifications (Halal, Kosher, organic, etc.), let us know – many of our products have these certifications or we can arrange them as needed.
Yes, we offer samples in a couple of ways. For our standard essential oils (like Lavender, Tea Tree, etc.), we can send you small samples (5–20 mL) so you can evaluate the scent and quality – these samples are usually free, we just ask you to cover shipping. For custom formulations or blends, we will create a prototype sample for your review as part of the product development process. Sample turnaround is quick (usually 3–6 days to prepare a custom sample). We want you to be confident in the product before committing to a full order.
Pricing depends on a few factors: the type of product (some essential oils are rarer and cost more than others), the quantity (larger orders get volume discounts), and packaging choice (standard packaging is very cost-effective, while special custom packaging will add cost). Once we discuss your needs, we will provide a detailed quote with unit pricing for your product. Our pricing is very competitive given the quality level – thanks to our large-scale capacity and efficient processes, you’re getting great value. We aim for transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Note that we typically require a deposit to begin production (especially for custom projects), with the balance upon completion – this will be outlined in your quote/contract.
Yes, we serve clients all over the world. We can ship via air freight for fast delivery or sea freight for cost savings on large orders. We handle all the export documentation, and our team is knowledgeable about international shipping regulations for essential oils (which are classified as hazardous for transport). We will provide you tracking and assist if there are any customs queries. Many of our clients are in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East – so we have experience getting products into your country smoothly.
